If you’ve been on any of the make money online “guru” mailing lists, you’d have received a series of warm-up emails for Amish Shah and Jay Style’s Magic Bullet System which launches tomorrow (Monday 11 Jan) and from the preview videos released so far, it looks like an automatic CPA money making system, but is it the reality? Is it all it’s cracked up to be?
Here’s my somewhat insider’s look on the situation.
I was in the same internet marketing mastermind with Amish and Jay about 3 years ago. Then Amish had been working on his Hexatrack PPC management platform which he was using to run his own campaigns. It was brutally effective and he’s come on the calls going into detail about how he’s killed the last offer he’d been promoting.
Fast forward 3 years, and $250,000 later, and some of the core components of Hexatrack have been developed into the Magic Bullet System, which resulted in a $5,000 workshop in California last year with a number of practising top affiliates, copywriters and conversion experts delivering the sessions. The seminar has been productized into the Magic Bullet System which will combine webinar style training, together with the video recordings (about 20+ hours) from the session.

What’s been happening thus far?
Amish and Jay have roped in JV broker Mike Merz to round up JV partners and Frank Kern who’s developed quite a reputation for stellar product launches. In case you weren’t aware, Frank has been responsible for kicking off the “Dog Training” training products, tattoo-related products and monetizing a host of other niches.
For those in or familiar with the pick-up artist niche, Frank (together with his cousin/brother-in-law Trey) helped Neil Strauss AKA Style (author of seduction/pick-up bestseller The Game) develop and launch his “Annihilation Method” series of Pick-Up Artist home study course.
Frank has since gone on to work on a couple of other big product launches, including a recent collaboration with John Reese to do a “self-improvement for internet marketers” type of course with motivation expert Tony Robbins.
As with everything Frank has been involved with, the Magic Bullet System looks like it will be a stellar launch, with more than 90,000 leads who have opted in to the prospects list.
One way that Amish has built up the list is by giving away high quality content, in a Frank Kern-style “Mass Control” launch campaign of giving great stuff (like a $200/day smiley central campaign – he shows you how to set it up in Adwords, including the landing pages and keywords) in exchange for opting in to the list.
Will Amish get 500 customers within a few minutes of opening the doors tomorrow? You betcha.
With a ticket price of about $3,000, you might think the $1.5 million payday is the big payout for Amish and Jay. But I don’t think so. Having worked on these launches before, I think Amish and Jay will have a net profit of $600,000 to $750,000 when all is said and done. Which is chump change since they’re already generating 5 to 6 figures consistently each day from promoting CPA offers and their own products.
So where’s the upside?
If you’re considering that they’re both savvy business owners, the Magic Bullet System is a screening/pre-qualification process for new affiliates to their yMultimedia CPA network.
Since getting involved in the CPA industry, I’ve noticed that almost all networks do not do enough to provide training or give ideas to affiliates – which is strange because having your affiliate base perform better will directly impact your networks’ earnings.
The trend has been changing though, with a number of boutique networks (many of which are started by top affiliates) like Convert2Media, EagleWebAssets, Ads4Dough and TriFoxMedia, Revolution202 to name a few.
yMultimedia is taking this a step further by coupling their offer database with the Magic Bullet System which has offer/keyword research, set-up and optimization capabilities similar to other PPC management solutions which cost $20,000/month and upwards to lease each month.
And savvy CPA network owners already know that you don’t need 50,000 affiliates to be a roaring success. If you have 50 top affiliates who are consistently promoting your offers, you’re good as gold. In fact, the top 10 affiliates at some networks are responsible for 80-90% of their revenue.
If anything, launching the Magic Bullet System at this time is an aggressive step for Amish and Jay to pre-qualify, recruit and train what’s likely to be a formidable affiliate army.
