Bas Rutten has a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and ShinTai Karate. A fifth grade in Kyokushin Karate. He is a 3-time undefeated world champion in Japan for the Pancrase organization and an undefeated heavyweight champion for the UFC. He was the first European fighter to win the UFC World Championship and in 2015 he was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. Bas started his career as a striker and then later taught himself the ground game, he fell in love with him resulting in many submission wins.
