WEEKLY LIVE LECTURES

A weekly 2-hour live session with training from our mentor team. Covering After Effects exercises, traditional animation principles, design principles, and production techniques. Mentors alternate hosting the weekly live session.

Each week you’ll receive a detailed, written critique via the Frame.io media review platform. This way, you can store notes and catalog the process of creating your original works.

WEEK 1

Animation Planning & Principles

Create a foundation of good animation theory to build on.

We start with animation principles as the foundation for making good animation. A focused look at animating in After Effects with the graph editor. How animation principles work in the context of using Adobe After Effects. And we’ll also look at generating concepts for your own original animation.

WEEK 2

Timing, Spacing & Interpolation

Bringing animation principles into our work.

We continue with animation principles as the foundation for making good animation. Including exlcusive interview footage with Jr Canest and Paul Slemmer on animation case studies.

Final conclusions on production styles and quality.
