James Van Elswyk – Purple Knowledge Lab Live Event

The internet is a great place to make money, whether you have a need to work from home or you just hate the 9-5 grind.  There are, of course, several entities you have to understand if you really want to make money online.

Facebook and Instagram are vital to reaching an audience.  Twitter is a great way to be seen and to interact with celebs and other companies.  eBay and Amazon are business you’ll need to keep an eye on whether you’re working with them, or establishing yourself as a competitor.  James Van Elswyk knows what’s up, and he wants to give you the scoop.

Who is James Van Elswyk?

He’s the founder of Purple Leads and Istack Training which focuses on media buying.

His background includes training sales people and acting as a team leader.

Van Elswyk is from New Jersey but has traveled the world.

Began as a single-person company and quickly had 30 full-time employees under him.

Now shares his acquired knowledge with thirsty entrepreneurs in LinkedIn.

That all sounds great, but how does it help me?  That’s what I was asking. Plenty of people want to sell you on doing whatever they did to make money.  But how do I know I have the skills for it? How do I know it’s worth my time and money to invest?

What exactly is a Purple Knowledge Live Event?  

First, we have to look at the Purple strategy as a whole.  It’s all about ROI—which as any business person knows is Return On Investment.  It’s about what you can expect to get out based on how much time and energy you put in.

Purple Knowledge Live Event isn’t exactly live in the sense that if you miss it, it’s over forever.  But it IS live in the sense that you’re learning things from someone who is explaining them right in front of you.  Because it’s a series of videos, you can pause, take notes, rewind, and watch as many times as you need to. If you think about it, that’s even better than a live class.

So what did I learn?

–Lead Generation.  That’s crucial for anyone trying to build and grow an audience or customer base.  Find out where buyers are, and let them find out where YOU are.

–Examples of persuasive copy for ads or Email blasts, and even videos.  I don’t know about you, but after a while all of my advertising Emails sound the same.  Getting fresh pointers from a new perspective has been awesome.

–How to use influencers to your advantage.  Getting celebs or other high-profile accounts to acknowledge you can give you an enormous edge on the social media landscape.

–Organizing and implementing social media campaigns that work.
