Welcome to the follow-up course to the very popular “Intuitive Andamento” with Rachel Sager. In this online course, Intuitive Andamento 2.0, Rachel takes students deeper by learning to use unique and carefully created lines for design composition. In Rachel’s first Intuitive Andamento she teaches how to create lines, discusses tesserae shapes, explains cutting natural materials, and explores how they all play together without creating a design. Rachel’s first “Intuitive Andamento” is recommended as a great stepping stone before taking this course, but it is not mandatory. In this course, Rachel builds on the previous course with even more information on using her technique to create a composition. If you are a student of Rachel’s first “Intuitive Andamento” tutorial, imagine taking those line creation skills and learning how to create a composition. Not only will you learn about composition, but there are lessons on creating a design, learning to work and source a variety of materials, discovering color palettes, and using negative space within your design. Whether students create their own substrates or buy them pre-cut, Rachel will take you farther and deeper into your practice as a mosaic artist. You will begin thinking about how the lines play with each other, and how your own style can come to life when you know even more about Intuitive Andamento.
This online course is full of information as well as a downloadable PDF with all the tools, materials, and resources needed so that you can easily access them and start creating!
