Yoga for Self-Transformation is a collection of various simple yet powerful methods taught by Sadhguru to improve health, joy, serenity, love, success, and inner exploration, assisting one to cope with the frenetic pace of contemporary life and reach their full potential in all areas of life.
Do you want to study yoga but don’t know where to begin? Sadhguru responds to some often asked questions for “yoga novices.” His complete course presents the ancient discipline of yoga in a way that is consistent with modern living. To begin, you deal with the body, then the breath, then the mind, and finally the inner self.
The methods presented here do not necessitate any modifications to your regular routine; each one takes around 5 minutes to complete and may be done at any time of day, including at your desk.
You don’t need any prior yoga expertise or exceptional agility.
The techniques are appropriate for all adults and children over the age of four (except practices like Yoga Namaskar, which can be practiced after 7 years of age)

Sadhguru: “Yoga must be practiced in a highly dedicated environment since it is a powerful tool for change. When something has the ability to morph, it also has the ability to inflict harm if mismanaged.
However, there is something known as upa-yoga, which provides physical and psychological advantages but does not address spiritual or mystical components. Upa-yoga does not require that amount of devotion, nor does it pose any problems if done incorrectly, because it cannot be done incorrectly – it is really easy!”
Upa-yoga (included in this course) is a simple yet effective sequence of ten practices that energize the joints, muscles, and energy system, offering overall ease. Upa-Yoga, which is based on a profound understanding of the mechanics of the body, dispels inertia in the body’s energy and gives relaxation to the entire system.
Energy travels through the human system via 72,000 routes known as nadis. The nadis meet and form nodes at the joints, transforming the joints into energy storage facilities. Upa-Yoga awakens this energy while also lubricating the joints, resulting in an instant sensation of alertness and vitality, allowing the rest of the system to work. Maintaining correct energy flow in the body promotes healthy living and makes the body system more comfortable.
This type of practice is very useful for individuals who work in demanding or sedentary occupations, and it produces rapid effects.
Nada yoga (also covered in this course) is a particularly helpful exercise for both you and your children. These basic instruments may actually set individuals apart in terms of capabilities in terms of welfare and appropriate development of the body and mind. As students begin to experience the advantages, they will naturally progress to more advanced kinds of yoga.
