Spitfire took a close look at what made Albion ‘Legacy’ popular, returned to the studio and painstakingly recreated and refined highlights from the original. Like Albion 1, it has a large epic orchestra, but this time the orchestra has been expanded to 109 players with more articulations, vibrato controls and new features. Darwin Percussion has been re-recorded with many extra chapters (and a couple of old favorites). The “Brunel dynamic loops” section was again developed by a team of Spitfires, made with the favorite percussion of Paul Clarvis, a lot of what he uses in many films, including “Skyfall” and “Spectrum”. “Stephenson’s Steam Synth” takes epic to a whole new level with a new script from Spitfire.
