Module 1: Your Physical Body — Learn the Nervous System’s Language to Reduce Pain and Increase Flexibility (July 21)
Chronic pain, discomfort, and stiffness might cause you to shut down and flee. However, feeling and movement are essential for transitioning from pain to pleasure.
Lavinia will explain how the pain cycle may be broken with moderate, safe exercises that shift your nervous system’s focus toward better ease and enhanced function as your trip through this course begins.

Module 2: Your Emotional Body – Improve Your Mood While Practicing Posture (July 28)
Even if you don’t know it, you’re communicating with your body – not just with others, but also with yourself.
Your skull, for example, may weigh up to 15 pounds and rests on top of your spine. Is that correct? Gravity pushes your spine down, rounding your back, if your head is front or hanging down. This affects your mood as well as how others see you.
Lavinia will discuss how your posture, breath, and facial expressions transmit your emotions to yourself and others. You’ll discover how your head position impacts and reflects different emotions, as well as techniques for placing your head “in its place” for ideal posture and relaxation.
This module will teach you:

Your capacity to attend to your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, as Lavinia will describe, begins with a clear mind.
You become aware of habits and tensions that interfere with clear thought and action by becoming aware of how you move. She’ll show you how to establish a strategy and stick to it, observing and reflecting along the way – with clarity of thought toward not only your movement, but also your life.
You’ll also investigate the folding and unfolding process – how to expand oneself when stiff thoughts induce contraction, impacting your body and restricting your options and capacity to go forward.

Finding oneself in an unexpected circumstances, unique environment, or new position may be both terrifying and exciting! The ability to recognize what is required, to be interested, and to be comfortable in the unknown may make the impossible attainable.
Lavinia will demonstrate how planning, imagination, and successive approximations lead to a successful creative endeavor. You will investigate how learning to let go, make errors, and play without judgment transforms living into a creative endeavor.

Archetype exploration is a strong and fulfilling technique to move deeper into personal growth.
The Kinsa Process focuses on four strong archetypes that provide you with tools to help you become the change you wish to see in the world.
Lavinia will bring you to the Healer Archetype’s core of presence – the ability of your hands to heal yourself. From ancient traditions to modern science, you’ll discover how your hands can heal, harm, communicate, and impact you as a whole person.
You’ll use your hand energy to heal, releasing tension in your chest, neck, back, and shoulders.
This module will teach you:
The ability of the Healer Archetype’s hands to support and heal yourself and others
How your hands express your ideas
The wounded healer’s paradox
How you may use your hands to help yourself heal
A strong movement instruction for using your hands to relieve shoulder discomfort.
Module 6: Finding Your Voice, Speaking Your Truth, and Unlocking Your Jaw
Imprisoning the fifth chakra’s energy can constrict the throat, lock the jaw, and literally tie your tongue…
This trapped energy of the fifth chakra can cause TMJ dysfunction, headaches, stiff neck, a weak voice, and other symptoms. Lavinia often wonders if she became a mime because she was told to shut up so many times as a child.
Lavinia will guide you through the process of opening your throat, relaxing your jaw, and allowing your voice to move with your energy to manifest the power of your words.
This module will teach you:
Two somatic explorations for jaw, tongue, and voice release
An exercise to help you find your true voice.

The transformation of lead into gold was used by ancient alchemists as a metaphor for inner transformation — preparing the self to access higher powers and a connection with the Divine.
Lavinia will have guided you to broaden your self-image and possibilities at this point in your journey.
You’ll be invited to experience your inner illumination as these seven weeks come to a close. You will learn to recognize your perceived limitations and begin the journey toward inner freedom as a result of this process.
You’ll get advice along the way on how to transition from sorrow to joy, pain to pleasure, intention to action, and potential to possibility. You’ll also learn how to stretch yourself to embrace your true worth.
