Soccer-obsessed comedian David Baddiel is Trinny and Susannah’s next victim. But while they are giving him a major style over-haul, they focus their attention on men, in general, cataloguing, and defining, the seven Tribes of Man. Hurtling toward 40, David is still wearing his dangly hoop earring from his university days. In fact, he still looks like a student in baggy t-shirts and strangely-lined country-western jackets. But he isn’t alone, he is a member of the tribe of “Market Stall Holders”. A sneak look into David’s wardrobe reveals his prediliction for “stupid pants”, kilts, and sweaty, smelly soccer jerseys. Even after David watches the video of Susannah trying on his bikini briefs, he still agrees to go along with the makeover. But before he can upgrade to a more desirable tribe, he needs to hear why his current style is no good and what needs to go in the bin. (It is easier said than done!) David says “I felt a bit like I was in The Birds by Hitchcock. It was like these two mad, feminine, flapping, squawking presences just attacking me from every quarter … I could feel my temper starting to rise.
