I’m referring to me — Igor Ledochowski
Now, for the first time ever, you can discover my secrets for crushing every emotional obstacle and fear of practicing hypnosis out of your life as fast as humanly possible.
When I started hypnosis, I was terrified of asking others to help me practice new skills.
Back then, I was a self-described hypnosis “info-junky.”
I read the books and listened and watched presentations.
And studied hypnosis like a man possessed.
I practiced in my room in front of the mirror. Yet, when it came time to “pull the trigger”… to actually find people to hypnotize… I cowered in fear.
You could say I was a “closet hypnotist.”
What was I afraid of?
- I feared failure. Maybe I’d choke. Maybe inductions would not work. The possibility of screwing up turned me into a nervous mess. Because I lacked confidence despite shelling out a small fortune on training.
- I feared rejection. Getting shot down by potential volunteers. I shook in my boots when approaching people. Because I was clueless about how to entice willing subjects to help me out.
- I feared everything. Because hypnosis was a new skill and I demanded perfection from myself. The pressure was almost too much to bear.
Most of all, shame jabbed at me.
After all the books, courses and seminars I still held back. Hesitant to try my skills out. Because fear froze me in place. I almost gave up.
But I didn’t quit.
I kept at it with dogged determination and now…
I know how ANYONE can become a
confident hypnotist.
I’m living proof.
Stumbling upon these secrets totally changed my life:
- Before… my stomach turned to ice at the idea of practicing with another person. After… nothing held me back from engaging participants at the drop of a hat!
- Before… hypnosis felt like a chore I resisted with all my might. After… I learned to have fun playing around with this wonderful skill.
- Before… terror held me in suspense when it came time to put a subject in trance. After… the weight of the world was off my shoulders so hypnosis became a cinch.
- Before… convincing people to practice on them was like pulling teeth. After… I was swamped with too many prospects chomping at the bit.
Look, if hypnosis is no longer easy and fun…
… if you become a “basket case” when it comes to asking volunteers… if you panic at the idea of messing up inductions… if you use scripts like a security blanket… don’t worry about it.
I know how you feel… because… I’ve been in your shoes.
More important, I’ve discovered certain strategies proven to…
- Banish the fear of doing hypnosis quickly and forever!
- Make hypnosis enjoyable again. Maybe for the first time!
- Eliminate performance anxiety and pressure!
- Guarantee you practice hypnosis naturally with anyone!
- Attract swarms of eager subjects like bees to honey!
- Train subjects to be responsive to hypnotic suggestions!
- Allow for successful sessions every time!
Let me tell you…
How I raised myself from failure to success in hypnosis…
Here’s what happened:
A friend introduced me to hypnosis while I attended Exeter University in the U.K.
I used it at first to improve my ability to learn and retain class work. The results blew me away. I learned twice as fast and breezed through classes like a dream. Earned my law degree. And I landed a job with a top-notch legal firm.
Along the way, I tried to learn how to hypnotize others.
With mixed results.
Sometimes I could and sometimes disaster struck. Which spooked me a bit. I never knew if trance would work or not. I don’t take kindly to embarrassment. Who does? So I didn’t go out of my way to show off.
Things changed when I decided to quit the law firm… and… I hung my shingle out as a corporate coach. Now, it was…
Make it or break it time
You see, almost all my corporate clients were savvy and experienced top-level executives. Twice my age or older. In positions at Fortune 500 companies. The biggest challenge was convincing them to listen to me in the first place.
Youth was not on my side.
Either I discovered quick ways to boost my confidence… and… deal with these grizzled business veterans on the same level or lose face.
Happy to say, my corporate coaching business boomed.
Because I dug deep into my bag of hypnotic influence strategies. I found several secrets that took the fight, resistance and nerves out of the equation. They worked like… CRAZY!
I applied the same secrets while building a wildly successful hypnotherapy practice.
Helping people overcome phobias, mental blocks and all sorts of issues that made them naturally skeptical and somewhat uncooperative.
Hypnotherapy was a brand new experience. I hadn’t used hypnosis in that manner before. Needless to say, my nerves got the better of me on more than one occasion.
The good news is I knew how to beat those fears.
Eventually, I began teaching others hypnosis. During live seminar events. With dozens and sometimes hundreds of eyeballs staring at me.
Talk about stage fright!
I’m telling you, there’s nothing like standing on a stage with panic gripping your throat. Knowing the audience is expecting a first-class performance. Sure I got rattled the first few times… but… because I knew the secrets to instant confidence I delivered great speeches and multi-day seminars with ease.
Here are the three most crucial factors that made all the difference for me.
They can put you on the road to stellar success too:
Fearless Hypnosis Secret #1:
The Right Training
Look, you can’t succeed at hypnosis with improper training.
Before taking on corporate clients I had done my homework. Spent countless hours (well over 1,000 hours) studying the craft. From the best in the world.
I literally tracked down a number of therapists and trainers who had learned directly from Milton H. Erickson. Considered the greatest hypnotherapist who ever lived.
What I’m saying is I got the proper training.
Which is the first step to brimming with confidence. The problem is few people learn hypnosis the right way.
Understandably, they are scared out of their wits to practice on people. Anything could go wrong.
Fear of the unknown shackles many on the sidelines.
Which reminds me of a story Milton Erickson once told:
He was working at an induction board in Detroit, Michigan. In the middle of winter. A veteran with an artificial leg needed to cross a patch of ice on the sidewalk.
But he balked. Had second thoughts about falling.
So Erickson taught him how to walk on the ice so he wouldn’t fall.
Once he learned how, the vet strutted across the ice without a slip.
Confidence is rooted in knowledge.
The key to confidence is a firm grasp (and an accurate fundamental understanding) of the underlying principles that make hypnosis work.
That’s half the battle. You also need…
Fearless Hypnosis Secret #2:
The Right Mindset
Sometimes knowing what to do is not enough.
You also must force yourself to use it. The right perspective about hypnosis is essential to applying new skills.
To me, hypnosis is not about manipulation… or controlling people… or tricking others into doing things. Not at all. I hold a different concept of hypnosis in mind. Which allows me to hypnotize others with a clear conscience.
Your mindset about hypnosis dictates whether you use it or not.
Which reminds me of another story by Erickson which illustrates this point.
A young religious lady stood in front of class at her college. She was writing on the blackboard and… um… passed gas.
Loudly!
She fled the classroom and hid in her apartment for months.
Finally, she called Erickson for an appointment. They met at his office. He listened to the story. Then challenged her respect for God.
He took out an anatomy book and explained how our body is perfectly created. Even for certain bodily… um… “functions”.
Erickson instructed the young lady to go home. Bake some beans. Eat them and “let loose” around her apartment. Enjoying God’s work as it were.
This little episode changed her mindset completely.
She no longer felt ashamed and embarrassed about her body.
Once you develop the right mindset about the purpose of hypnosis you won’t hesitate to practice. In fact, you’ll feel it’s your duty. No pun intended! 🙂
Then there’s…
Fearless Hypnosis Secret #3:
The Right Approach
Finding a never-ending stream of volunteers often puts the breaks on budding hypnotists. Just asking someone to participate can cause a panic attack.
I discovered a few simple ways to hunt down and recruit volunteers in droves.
A word of caution: The wrong group of people will ruin your day.
On the other hand, the right people are a joy.
A breath of fresh air.
I’m talking about people fascinated with the idea behind hypnosis. These folks will not judge you critically. They look forward to seeing you. And they are prime prospects. Ready, willing and able to help you hone your skills.
Perhaps you think I’m referring to friends and family.
If so, you’d be way off.
While friends and family are a choice, the group I’m thinking of is (by far) the best choice for locating willing subjects.
Even if you find the best subjects, you still must motivate them to participate.
I banged my head against the wall on this one for some time.
I asked myself, “How can I take the pressure off of asking people to become subjects?”
And I figured out a way to completely remove my anxiety. While at the same time, persuading throngs of people to work with me. More than I could handle.
In fact, I’d often turn volunteers down. Because I had mobs jumping at the chance to join me. With this secret, you’ll gather an army of volunteers in a snap. And never again wonder how to convince others to help you out.
I’d like to share all these secrets with you and more in my new…
